RV Roofs

When it comes to detailing RVs, cleaning the roof is very important and should always be cleaned first. While on the roof, its important to exercise caution for the RV roof and mainly your own safety, you will need a pair of non-slip rubber boots. When walking on the roof of a bumper pull or fifth wheel, if you're a lighter weighing person (120lb-170) your able to stand more in the center of the roof panels but you should still be very careful, if you're bit more heavier (180lb-240) you should only really stand on the supports of the roof, the supports are spaced out about 4 feet in between each other, you can see in the picture the blue lines are the main support generally. When on rooves of Class a's or Class C's their rooves are way more sturdier all around. While on the roof of an RV, if you ever hear cracking you should immediately get down from the roof and let the owner know that their roof is soft and its unsafe for you to stand on it, still try to push for cleaning the rest of the RV and offer a slight discount for skipping the roof to entice the client , sometimes not cleaning the roof will turn people away from getting their RV serviced.
